Collects and prepares mouse DNA samples for analysis. Prepares solutions and media under sterile conditions. Performs various molecular biology techniques. Position also assists with general laboratory maintenance, including equipment maintenance and ordering/stocking of supplies.
Undergraduate coursework in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics or related discipline.
Must be willing to work with and handle mice.
Able to work a flexible schedule based on research needs.
Must be willing to work in an animal-related research environment.
Successful completion of the Institute’s background investigation.
This position requires constant handling and working inside.
