The Feinberg Cardiovascular Research Institute at Northwestern University in downtown Chicago is recruiting a full-time tenure-track scientist or physician-scientist in the area of endothelial cell biology at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor. Qualified candidates must have a PhD and/or MD degree and an interest in using animal models to unravel different basic and clinical aspects of cardiovascular biology, including organ-associated blood and lymphatic vessels, endothelial cell plasticity and regenerative biology.
The successful candidate should have demonstrated success in original research and is expected to develop and maintain a robust extramurally funded research program. This is an outstanding opportunity in an expanding and highly collaborative multidisciplinary research environment. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The search will be ongoing until a suitable candidate is identified. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
