Position responsibilities include: - Direct and serve as a faculty member in Regenerative Medicine - Provide leadership in the establishment of an interdisciplinary regenerative medicine research program - Establish an innovative, extramurally funded research program, including carrying out and publishing original research as well as contributing to teaching and service activities within the University - Work collaboratively with other scientists throughout UNMC
- PhD, MD, or equivalent
- Postdoctoral training in a related field such as intestinal cell biology, liver, bioengineering and cardiovascular regeneration - successful record of research accomplishments including publications and presentations and extramural funding - excellent leadership qualities - ability to establish an extramurally funded research program - work collaboratively with other scientists
