About the job Full-time, Researcher 3 position in the department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth campus.
Responsibilities: -Conduct colorectal cancer experiments in rodent models, human colorectal cancer tissues, and cultured cells (70%). -Design experiments, in conjunction with PI’s and collaborators (10%). -Present results in verbal and written formats (10%). -Supervise laboratory workers (10%).

Required qualifications: -BS/BA and 2 years of related experience or a combination of education and work experience to equal six (6) years.
Preferred qualifications: -Ph.d. In biological field such as biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, cancer biology or genetics, or other relevant field. -Experience in culturing mammalian cells; experience working with animal models of cancer; fundamental molecular biology skills such as analysis of DNA, RNA and proteins; experience with experimental design and interpretation; strong verbal and written communications skills, including record of peer-reviewed publications.
