The Yang Lab at the Department of Cell Biology and Neuroscience, University of California Riverside is seeking a talented, highly-motivated candidate to fill 1 postdoc position.
Our lab employs multiple state-of-the-art techniques, including in vivo electrophysiology, optical imaging, and optogenetics, to link cellular-level physiology to circuit dynamics and behavior in mice. Our lab is currently interested in neuromodulatory regulation of perception and behavior.
The ideal candidate should 1) be highly self-motivated, 2) have a strong desire to become an independent investigator, and 3) have rigorous training in neuroscience. Applicants with electrophysiology experience and less than 3 years of postdoctoral training are preferred.
The successful candidate will be working in a vibrant, dynamic and collaborative research environment. Scientific creativity and interpersonal skills are also important as the successful candidate will work both independently and as part of a team.
The ideal start date of this position is the last quarter of 2017.
